BURGER KING® Celebrates Military Personnel During May & Hosts Free Family Fun Night

Posted on April 23rd, 2015 by TEAM Schostak in Community

We are excited to share that our 60 BURGER KING® restaurants will offer a special 15% discount to active and inactive military personnel throughout the month of May in honor of Military Appreciation Month.

During the month of May, our BURGER KING locations will honor all veterans and military personnel for their service to our country with a 15% discount on all breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items. This special offer is part of TSFR’s ongoing support of the men and women who serve or have served on behalf of our country and its citizens.

We are continuously looking for new ways to show our appreciation to the servicemen and women who have given so much to our country, offering us the freedoms that are sometimes taken for granted. We are proud to host this month-long acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude for their years of service and the personal sacrifices they’ve made to ensure our safety.

Those eligible to receive the 15% discount simply need to show proof of service, such as a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, DDT214 Citation or Commendation, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a Veterans Organization Card, a photograph of he/she in military uniform or by wearing their military uniform in-restaurant. For a complete list of participating BURGER KING locations, visit our BURGER KING page.

Additionally, we will host a Family Fun Night on Thursday, May 7 at all TSFR BURGER KING restaurants.

Taking place from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., Family Fun Night is free and open to the public and will include multiple family-friendly activities. In particular, children will be able to participate in various arts and craft projects, including making Mother’s Day cards and planting flowers to give to a special individual in their lives.

As a family-owned company in Michigan, we are committed to offering local families a welcoming environment in which they can spend quality time together. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, we wanted to do something extra special that celebrates families (and moms in particular) for all they do.
