All TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants Applebee’s (TSFR) locations will offer free meals to veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day as part of our year-long Thank You Movement campaign honoring our troops.

On November 11, all 65 Michigan Applebee’s restaurants will celebrate Veterans Day by providing a free meal to those who have courageously enlisted in military service. The special Veterans Day menu includes entrees, such as 7 oz. House Sirloin, American Standard All-In Burger, Double Crunch Shrimp, Three-Cheese Chicken Penne, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Chicken Tenders Platter and Oriental Chicken Salad.

Those eligible to receive a free meal simply need to show proof of service, such as a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, DDT214 Citation or Commendation, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a Veterans Organization Card, a photograph of he/she in military uniform or by wearing their military uniform in restaurant.

In addition to our Veterans Day special, TSFR and Applebee’s will be visiting and feeding local veterans at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor on November 13 as a thank you for their dedication and service. Focused on celebrating those who serve our country all year long, we partner year-long with the Detroit Red Wings, through which we donate two tickets to every Red Wings home game to a military member and a guest.

We also feature a Military Mondays special every week at our Applebee’s locations, where veterans and active military members can enjoy a 30% discount on their meals.

Applebee’s is also donating everyday household items, like washers, dryers and medical equipment, to veterans or active duty military and their families in need. Friends, families and neighbors can submit stories at ThankYouMovement.com on behalf of veterans or active duty military and their families who need items that would help improve the lives of those who serve our country.
