Fundraiser Will Benefit The Muscular Dystrophy Association
TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR) will be participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA) 33rd annual MDA Shamrock Program at each of our 130 restaurant concepts.
To further benefit MDA, TSFR has pledged to match up to $25,000 in guest donations throughout the state on Monday, March 16 as an added method to raise additional funds and encourage the Michigan community to support the cause.
With a goal of raising $100,000, all 66 Applebee’s, 60 BURGER KING® restaurants and four Del Taco locations owned and operated by TSFR will participate in this one-day donation matching event. All guest and TSFR donations collected throughout the day will directly aid Michigan residents suffering from muscular dystrophy and related illnesses.
“As a locally owned and operated restaurant group, TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants is committed to partnering with organizations that have an impact on our local communities,” said TSFR Director of Marketing Barb Pasciak. “We are proud to once again be participating in MDA’s Shamrock Program, helping to raise funds and awareness for this great cause. We know that every dollar counts in the fight against some of the most debilitating illnesses that MDA faces on a daily basis, and these funds will go a long way toward finding a much needed cure.”
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is the world’s leading nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases. It does so by funding worldwide research, by providing comprehensive health care services and support to MDA families nationwide, and by rallying communities to fight back through advocacy, fundraising and local engagement.
