Olga’s Kitchen Hosts Dine to Donate Benefiting the Olga, A Life Wrapped in Love Foundation at all 26 Locations
Olga’s Kitchen, an iconic Michigan brand owned and operated by Michigan-based TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), has established the Olga, A Life Wrapped in Love Foundation following the passing of its founder Olga Loizon on Monday, January 21. Established to provide financial support to women entrepreneurs in their pursuit of starting the state’s next iconic business, the foundation has set a goal of raising $100,000 annually and will give grants between $5,000 and $10,000. TSFR has contributed $20,000 to the foundation.
On Sunday, Olga’s Kitchen will host a statewide Dine to Donate event from 11 a.m. to close (times vary by location), benefiting the Olga, A Life Wrapped in Love Foundation. Throughout the day, Olga’s Kitchen will donate 20 percent of guests’ food sales at all 26 of its locations to the foundation.
More information on when and how to apply for the grants will be available here in the coming weeks. Once the application process opens, a committee will review the applicants and award grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 to those who exemplify the same passion, ambition and vision as Olga Loizon.
