Olga’s Kitchen Hosts Dine to Donate to Support Literacy in Macomb County
On Wednesday, November 29, Olga’s Kitchen, an iconic metro Detroit brand, is hosting a ‘Dine to Donate’ at their new Chesterfield Township location. Twenty percent of every guest bill will be donated to Macomb Literacy Partners.
Olga’s Kitchen is dedicated to helping children and adults in our communities have access to books and educational programs that foster literacy. We look forward to coming together with Chesterfield area communities to support the work of Macomb Literacy Partners.
For more than 30 years, Macomb Literacy Partners has worked to eliminate adult literacy in the community through free tutoring service for adults and family literacy programs offered in partnership with Macomb Intermediate School District.
“Our literacy programs are designed to help people be successful in their day-to-day activities and at work,” said Alisa Diez, executive director of Macomb Literacy Partners. “As a nonprofit, we rely heavily on community support, and appreciate the generosity of Olga’s Kitchen and its patrons.”
The Chesterfield restaurant, which opened in October, is the third Olga’s Kitchen restaurant in Macomb County. Since TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR) purchased Olga’s Kitchen in late 2015, five Olga’s Kitchen locations have been remodeled and four all-new locations have opened.
