TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR) and its Michigan MOD Pizza restaurants will donate a portion of every pizza sold the week of Nov. 18 to Forgotten Harvest as part of the annual Spreading MODness fundraising campaign.

“We make pizza so we can serve people, we call it Spreading MODness,” Schostak said. “1 in 5 children struggle with hunger across the nation and we’ve made it our mission to do what we can to help out our neighbors in need. Our annual Spreading MODness fundraiser has a strong track record of making a lasting impact on the communities we serve and has provided much needed hunger relief. The outpouring of support we’ve received from the community in the past has been inspiring and we’re confident that our 2019 fundraiser will bring out the best in our customers and give them an opportunity to Spread MODness in their neighborhood.”

During the five-day-long Spreading MODness initiative, all MOD Pizza restaurants across the country will participate in raising money for organizations that fight hunger. Locally, TSFR’s 13 Michigan MOD Pizza restaurants will donate $.50 for every pizza sold during the campaign to Forgotten Harvest, a local non-profit that fights hunger and food insecurity by providing families in need with fresh and nutritious food free of charge. In addition to relieving hunger, the organization is commited to preventing nutritious food waste in the community.
