Olga Loizon, the founder of the famous restaurant chain Olga’s Kitchen, was honored with a hand-painted mural in the Ann Arbor, Michigan restaurant in celebration of Women’s History Month.
Desiree Kelly, a Detroit artist commissioned for the project says that the entire creative process took nearly six months to accomplish. From the design to the painting and then the digital recreation, Kelly wanted the mural to reflect Olga’s amazing legacy and properly reflect who Olga was to Michigan.
